Number Theory - SEQUENCES - 10th Maths Stateboard
Now we can start with SEQUENCES in Number Theory. That is Chapter 1 – Number Theory 1.1 SEQUENCES
Sequence Definition:
According to Book: An arrangement of Numbers in some order or in specific rule. The whole arrangement is called as SEQUENCE. And each number in a sequence is called as Terms. For more definitions and for better understanding visit http://wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=sequence
SEQUENCE: 1,3,5,7,9….. (Here the rule is a set of Odd numbers or numbers incrementing by adding 2)
Here 1,3,5,7,9…… is called as SEQUENCE. 1 is a term, 3 is a term and each number is called a Term.
Memorizing definition will help in objective type questions in case if you are not aware of sums given. But don’t attend theory question first. Try for sums in case if you suspect that you don’t know the answer then choose theory part.
